SELF DEFENCE FOR WOMEN

Martial arts and women, a very fascinating combination, some of them today enroll in self defence classes in order to acquire some skills who could help to deal with a dangerous situation, most of them are women who have had problems in the past, a violent husband, or maybe have suffered stalking, harassment, even rape attempted, well, these are absolutely all good reasons for start to have interest in self defence.

But beside what sometime we see in the movies, can a woman deal with a potential troublemaker ? Ok, first and foremost forget what usually you see in the movies, I mean the classic 110 pounds woman who beat a big man of 242 pounds without too much effort, most of the time what you see in a movie is unrealistic, forget also what you see in the most exhibitions where a partner let the lady do whatever she want without resist, because against a real troublemakers this stuff don't work.

SOME STRETCHING ADVICES

Albeit I never fell in love with stretching or yoga, I couldn't not admit who it's very important and should be a part of your training, just make sure to do it in the right way, don't overstretching if you want to avoid injuries, still I prefer the old static stretching, it's very relaxing and safe, but you can chose among a wide different ways to do it, static, active, dynamic, yoga, P.N.F and so on, I don't recommend the old ballistic stretching, that's because the odds to hurt yourself increase a lot.

Be carefull also to not get overtrained with it, in the last years I discoreved who is not required do hours of stretching every day in order to develop or mantain a good level of flexibility, in my case 15 minutes for two time at week is enough, this is because my goal is only avoid injuries when I lift weights, but maybe your goals are different, depending on your purpose, you would need of do more than I'm doing, so probably 30-45 minutes for 3 time at week will do the job, even you can do more.

WHEN THE ACTION MOVIES WERE GREAT

I like watching movies, especially action movies, since I was a child my favourites was been where an actor played the good boy role, the classic hero who get rid of all the enemies, it's not that I don't like the movies of nowdays, but I think in the past was more realistic, whereas if you watch a action movie today look like a real fantasy movie, cars who jump from one skyscraper to one other without a minimum damage for the vehicle and driver, men who get shoot in vital spots and still keep to

 run and combat scenes who look like has been built with computers, infact most of action movies todays look like videogames, they lack of the minimum realism who instead abounded in the 70s and 80s, sometime I laugh about how combat scenes and driving scenes totally flout every physic law, but this is what the audience want, for me the best era was been in the 70s with Bruce Lee and in the 80s with Chuck Norris, time ago there weren't any digital ways to pump your performance

HOW WOMEN LIKE TO BE APPROACHED BY MEN ?

Always I wondered how a woman prefer to be approached by a man, if her prefer the classic shy guy who come close to her and him barely have the power to talk or maybe she prefer the bold guy who come close to her with absolutely fearlessness and say " Hey, I like you, we should hand out sometime, like now, what you doing now " ? The question of the survey is this, if a man will approaching  you in a super straighforward manner and say the above mentioned sentence, what will be your reaction ?
You will be bothering about his insolence or you will appreciated his courage and honestly ?  I'm very curious about it. propably the answers will be different, it depend on she's emancipation level, maybe she's a very open mind woman and like this kind of behaviour, a man who he's not afraid to catch what him want, or maybe she like the old customs with a very long courtship, and what about you ? ALIEN ISOLATION QUICK REVIEW

Usually I'm not the kind of guy who buy " movie franchise videogame ", this because most of the time are low quality games, but also because I like see new stories with new characters, but sometimes I do some exception since something of special and unusual is released, and you can bet a hand that this Alien Isolation is one of them.
Albeit I loved the Aliens  movie saga, the only one videogame that I bought was for Commodore 64, for the above mentioned reasons, what pushed me to buy this one ?

"The real survival horror is dead with Playstation one ", I resigned myself about that since wasn't been  released any great horror game since  Resident Evil 3 Nemesis.
I like the first three Resident Evil Chapters because they mixed and dose perfectly shooting, explorations and puzzle solving, albeit them let  you have fun in shooting enough often, they never  exaggerated about it, the ammunition was very few, the atmosphere was great and you could felt the tension every time you turn the corner and you felt relentlessly hunted, a sensation that I never feel anymore, so far.

ARE VIN DIESEL WASTING HIS TALENT ?

Vin Diesel is absolutely one of the my favourite actors, he's not only a action movie icon, him is also a good actor, just like Bruce Willis,  it's just for that if I'm a little bit dissapoint because I truly believe that in the last years he wasted a little bit his talent, just a little bit, making the same movies and playing the same role, really,
it's not the time to see him again acting in new movies and playing new roles ?

In the last six years he starred only in sequel, Fast and Furious and Riddick, we have to comeback in the 2008 if we wanna see him in a different role, where him starred in Babylon A.D, not misunderstand me, I like Fast and Furious and Riddick saga but after six years I'd like to see him in new movies and in new roles that which are not Dominic Toretto or Riddick, movies like  " A man apart " for example where in my opinion he showed an amazing charisma or in movie like " Find me Guilty " where
